Fishing Notes |
---|
Today I got on the water about 1:00 and fished until 6:00. My most consistent bite today was fishing the ends of dock corners with the spinner bait, casting the spinner past the corner along side either the side of top of the dock and then killing the cast as it came to the corner and then picked the reel back up, the bites would come typically as I killed it and let it free fall at the corner. Those bites however were small bass. My first keeper a 3 pounder came fishing a main lake dock well, fishing with the same retrieve only after a few reels, I would kill it, reel again, kill it, etc. The bite came right at the end of the dock. I worked the spinner and buzz bait today over shallow big rocks and steep banks, with no bites. My other two keepers were caught in deep brush piles, 15-18′ of water on main lake points with the jig. |
