This morning I got on the water about 7:30 and fished til 2:30. I was trying to see if I can figure anything out for a tournament that I am fishing and Sunday. I started the morning fishing the buzz bait and spinner bait around big rocks on points and around condo docks and had two shorts on the buzz bait. I then started working main lake points to see if the heavy generation from the dam positioned the fish on the points, the fish seemed to be there according to my graph, however they were quite deep 30′-40′ sitting close to the bottom. So I fished for them and did get bit on the shaky head, I had 3 small keepers but not hawgs. I also fished the backs of several coves, however I had no bites as the bait fish were not back in those coves. |
