Fishing Notes |

Today, I only had a few hours to fish considering our involvement with the big high school tournament this weekend at Lake of the Ozarks. The HS tournament officials honored me by asking me to MC their banquet and tournament weigh-in. It was great fun. There were 77 boats with about 150 HS anglers from all over the State of Missouri. The winning weight on Sunday was a limit of about 13 pounds, all fish caught on a black buzz bait by chasing the shade. Today, I stayed in the Glaize fishing the same areas that I got skunked on earlier in the week. I did not want to lead any fisherman wrong on the Glaize just because I had a bad day on Wednesday. The bite was not really very consistent but I did catch some shorts on bluff ledges and deep brush piles. My keepers were just small keepers in brush. |
