Fishing Notes |

Today Dad and i were at it again getting on the water about 1:30.Due to recent success with our fall pattern we decided to try from the toll bridge to the 9mm. So we fished main lake and secondary points that had big chunk rock and some wind on it with our COG buzz baits. We also threw the jig and spinner bait today, but all the fish we got bites on was the buzz bait. We didnt catch many fish but i was able to land a nice 5.66 pounder!! Jim Dill owner of COG baits and professional guide on the lake had a really good day today he Caught 15 fish,3 good keepers, and 5 decent Kentucky keepers. He was using a black COG buzz bait And a fluke on dock corners.Nothing on the jig ,but its hard to throw a jig when there biting the buzz bait!! |
