Fishing Notes |
---|
Today I started out the day experimenting with the A-Rig and Jerk Bait. However, the conditions were not conducive for those baits. The conditions were rather tough as the water was slick and the sun was bright. After experimenting for a while, I moved to main lake points with big rocks with shade and whatever slight wind mother nature would give up. I caught the two five pounders on a spinner bait, letting the spinner fall to the rocks and slow rolling the spinner hitting the shallow rocks. Both of the 5 pounders were caught in about 6-8 feet of water and off the banks., The other smaller keepers were also caught on the shallow rocks but well off the banks with the spinner bait bouncing off the rocks. While I did not commit too long with the jig, I did have a couple of fish on the jig on main lake rocks/bluff ledges in 10″-15′ of water. |
