Fishing Notes |
---|
As I am practicing for a tourney this Sunday, I wanted to try some different baits and structure. I started out in the upper Glaize about 10:30AM, the water temp in the Glaize is a bit cooler than the mid lake to dam. I fished main lake points with wind with the jerk bait and A-rig and caught a couple of short fish. My graph was not showing many suspended fish on these points. I then fished from the mouth of the Glaize to the toll bridge, running multiple baits, the A-Rig and Spinner along side of docks with not much success the throwing the buzz bait behind the docks over/under wires with the buzz bait and flipping the jig. After sticking a few fish, I took off my trailer hooks and started to shake of the fish in prep for tournament Sunday. I had several good blow ups on the buzz bait and some solid bites on the jig behind the docks. I caught one small keeper on the spinner bait on main lake banks/ledge with big rocks. |
