Fishing Notes

First of all, I want to thank all of you that sent condolences and prayers to me and my family for the passing of my dad. The services were really nice, my mom is a tower of strength and my family is second to none. We had a great week celebrating my dads wonderful life and love. Today I got on the water about 2:30 and fished until just before 5. I started out up the Glaize where the water temps were about 46 degrees and had a couple of bites, one in the front of a dock on the jerkbait and one on a bluff ledge with a Dirks jig. I then worked with the A-Rig for a while with no bites. I was trying to cover many spots as I am fishing a tourney tomorrow, so I was just trying to figure out what I could about what the fish would bite and where they were located, main lake, secondary points, shallow, deep, etc. While I do not feel that I really established much, I did see a lot of fish and bait fish close to the main lake rocky points, just inside of the points over 15′-25′ of water.
