Fishing Notes |
---|
My partner Wayne is still recovering from being sick, so I fished the Anglers Choice tourney today solo. I worked the majority of the locations that I have the past few weeks, main lake points, just inside of the points and behind docks. The spinner bait bite that I have had going was not on at all, I fished the jerk bait quite a bit with only one short fish. My most consistent bite today was working a small jig on some cove channel banks and behind a couple of docks. I am guessing it is time to re-spool the rods and transition baits for winter time. I was hoping that I could squeeze out a few good bites on the fall pattern stuff, but it just was not there today in the zone I was fishing. The winning weight today was over 19 pounds with 17 pounds getting the last check. |
