After having a better day yesterday, I was really disappointed in the bite today. I have heard that there has been a good jerk bait bite on the north shore, so I ran to the 7mm and fished down to the 3mm. I got on the water about noon. All started out good, fishing main point around H Toads, caught two small bass and a couple of whites. The wind started to subside and I did not catch another largemouth the rest of the day. I did however catch about 6 white bass. I am sure the bite is good on the north shore, it just did not materialize for me today on main lake points. |
