On this day newest member of the bassing bob Josh Scnabble crappie fished with his buddy nick for a couple hours. The Crappie bite was on the caught 45 Crappie in two hours 30 of them being keepers. Josh and Nick fished around Hurricane Deck Bridge In big coves about mid way back. The crappie were in and around brush piles in abouth 4-8 feet of water. Josh noted that the bait didn’t have to be moving much, just light twitches of the jig triggered bites. Josh also noted that the white crappie jig worked better in the sun and when the overcast came the black was the way to go. |
