Fishing Notes |

After being off the water for a couple of days due to the BB tournament and NFL playoffs, I got on the water today about 1:30 and fished til 4:30. I picked up my Bassing Bob Brush Boat this morning, see pics, thanks to Dan Bowman at Formula Boats the motor is running great, the trolling motor and graph are installed and I am ready to do some brush sinking. This afternoon I ran to the dam area and spent most of my time fishing around the 2mm. As I am not totally familiar with the lower end, I spent some time reading my graph map and idling looking for bait fish on the steeper banks. After fishing without much success on a couple of banks, I found a good bank that set-up good with bait fish, I caught all of the 6 shorts that I caught today on that bank. My boat was in about 20-30 feet of water and most of the bites came in about 13-15 feet of water, with about half of them coming after I ticked off of brush. |
