Fishing Notes

Today i got on the water about 2 o’clock. I decided to just fish around my home from about the 23-20mm. I wanted to see if i could get a bite out of near by brush piles that were mid way back in the coves around my house. Without a single bite in 2 hours! I knew it was time to change bait color and change my strategy ! I switched from a wakasabi stick bait to a pro blue 2 stick bait and headed to a near by steep channel bank.At this time the sun was starting to set. My first cast on this bank i hooked a real nice keeper KY.It felt great to get the first bite of the day!!! it almost caught me off guard!!! As i went down the bank i was able to catch two more fish both close to keeping. One major detail i noticed today was when i was fishing the stick bait over brush there wasn’t any bait fish around, and the bank i caught the fish off of had nice balls of bait all around. All three bites came in about 10 ft of water.
