Fishing Notes |
---|
Today I got on the water about 2:00 and was on the water til 4. I scouted coves/creeks from the 19mm to the toll bridge, trying to find bait fish in preparation for the BWSTA tournament tomorrow which I will be fishing with my son Rob. I did not find much in the way of concentrated bait fish in the coves that I checked. I did fish a bit with the stick bait, A-Rig and jig, mostly toward the backs of coves/creeks, some bluff cuts and bluff ends, without a bite. I talked to several fisherman on the water today that were also struggling to get bites. The fisherman that I talked to that got bit today reported that most bites came on the jerk bait. |
