Fishing Notes |

Today I got on the water about 11 and fished until 3. As I did not plan to fish for too long, I decided to fish the area of the lower Glaize that I refer to as my backyard, the big cove(s) right by my condo. While I was able to locate bait fish, on structure that I have caught good fish before in the winter, I did not have a single bite all day. About 1:00 a cold front blew through, I was hoping the cold front would turn on the bite, but it did not. I fished big coves creek channel banks, secondary and main lake points, brush piles and docks. I threw the stick bait, A-Rig and Jig, all without a bite. Overall a very tough few hours of fishing. |
