Fishing Notes |
---|
Today I got on the water about 1:00 putting out brush piles. I sank about 10 brush piles in the upper Glaze area and in the areas near the Glaze bridge. I fished for a couple of hours after putting out brush. I spent most of my time fishing in a cove at the 19mm of the Glaze. As the bite has been tough, I thought that I would fish things a little different today. While the past several weeks I have been targeting creek channel banks about mid way back in coves, today I started on the last secondary points in this cove and worked my way back to the flat shallows, stopping when my boat was in about 10′-12′ of water and fan casting the flat areas as well as the banks leading back from the last secondary point. With the sunshine day, I have found the back flats to be 1/2 to 1 degree warmer than other parts of the cove. I did stick one small keeper and two short fish trying this out. |
