Fishing Notes |
---|
Today Rob and I headed to the north shore on the lower end of the lake about noon and fished until just after 3. We ran a series of coves hitting creek channel banks that looked fishy. The bite is still a bit slow but we were able to catch 6 total bass, 2 keepers, 4 crappie and one drum. I also had a big bass, 3-5 pounds pull off my stick bait, perhaps I needed my drag to be a bit looser. The keepers that were caught were in about 8′ of water, one keeper was just on the 15″ line and the other Rob weighed on his scale was 2.75 pounds. As my boat is in sick bay at Formula Boats awaiting a new power head we fished today out of Rob’s Charger. |
