On this day local Fishing guide Jack Uxa Took a client out Crappie fishing around the Tan Tara area of the lake.Jack was targeting brush piles in 20-35 feet deep. Jack and his client were fishing 2′ Johnson tubes red and Chartreuse tipped with crappie nibbles. Jack was fishing vertical in or above brush piles that held crappie. He also mentions that jig color was very important due to the stained water.Jack ended up cleaning 25 crappie and caught 30 total. For any of you members or new members who want to go on a guide trip to catch any of the species in this lake Jack is your guy!! |
