Today, I continued to try to put some hours on my motor to get it broke in before the FLW BFL tournament next weekend on Grand Lake in Oklahoma. I continued to use time on the water to run while stopping to fish periodically. Today, like yesterday I could not get a bite. With the strong wind today, I fished mostly with the jerk bait. I tried everything, working is extremely slow with long pauses between twitches, I worked it fast, worked it shallow, deep and over brush piles. The bite is very tough right now. |
