Fishing Notes

On this day at Grand Dad and i were trying our best to get a bass bite! we came into an area where the graph was lite up with bait and fish. This was a creek that was steep and narrow you could cast to either side of it. So were fishing around trying to catch our first bass of our trip and bang! dad has one on. He brings it up and its a nice white crappie. It was great for us to finally get a bite of some sort. and usually where there is crappie there is bass. so we kept fishing in this creek and Dad kept catching crappie. The key was backing off the school and throwing the mega bass in there and reeling it down. After reeling down let it soak for a few seconds then give her a twtch. Dad was catching them every cast, hes started to move away to continue to fish for bass and i said” hey hey dad i havent caught one yet dont you dare move this boat” !!!! so threw back and was able to catch a few. Felt good to catch something and it was alot of fun. For Dad and i were just starting to crappie fish it was neat to see how you can get a school fired up and start feeding.
