Fishing Notes |
---|
After being in STL on Saturday, I got back on the water today about 2:00PM and got off about 5:00. I thought I would check out the back of big creeks to see if the sun warmed up the water any and if any fish are getting back there yet. I was really surprised to see all of the bait fish in the backs of these creeks, however I did not get a single bite back there, flipping the jig, the beaver on the Crock-o-Gator Keeper Head (formerly Waynes Creature Keeper) and stick bait. I finally got some baits flipping the Davenport Special Chompers Jig on the last creek channel bank in those creeks/coves. Two of the bites came on the end of laydowns. |
