Fishing Notes

Today I got on the water about 3:30, I did not intend to fish very much but rather to idle around to see what the heavy rains did to the color of the water from PB1 in the Glaize to the toll bridge. I did stop to fish a bit, mostly in the backs of stained/muddy creeks to see if I could find a bait that those shallow fish would bite. I had two small keepers in very muddy water on a 1/2 oz spinner bait with painted blades. Not all of the water is muddy, some creeks are just stained, secondary points stained and main lake points are only slightly stained. The muddy water seems to be a bit controlled in the backs of big creeks and some smaller creek backs. I made a run to PB1 about the 14mm of the Glaize, the water gets muddy at about the 10mm of the Glaize, but everything before that is just stained with some creek backs muddy.
