Wow, i could not get a crappie bite today if my life depended on it!!! i fished for crappie for a total of 3 hours trying various methods. I started shallow just cruising the banks with a search bait i like to call it. Which was my shadalicious bait with a 1/32 oz pony head with a tiny spinner on it. No bites, i tried some main lake isolated docks, no bites i even found some crappie on my graph on a secondary point and i backed off them and threw in there multiple times and had no bites. Guys at this point i was beyond frustrated because i couldnt get one crappie to bite!! so to be honest with you i started bass fishing and got a few bites. I got a brief report from jack Uxa the fishing nguide and he said he had a guide trip today they fished all day and caught 20 crappie. Jack reports that they were very scattered he would catch 2 in one spot at the most. He bounced around quite a bit from shallow to deep from vertical to shooting docks to catch his crappie. We are currently changing the website so members can submit there crappie reports guys please stay tuned for this and lets help each other out!! |
