Fishing Notes

Well after a long weekend of being sick and fishing the BFL i got back after the Crappie today!I headed back in the Glaze to see if the bite was still good there. Man was it on!! i caught about 30 good crappie , and had bites on every spot i went to. I’ve been heading back into coves and starting about half way back in them. I look for a indentation on the bank somewhere and start throwing. I’ve been keeping my boat in about 9-15 foot of water and throwing to the bank and steadily cruising my bait back out. I’m still using the 1/32 ounce pony head with a spinner on it. I also target the creek pockets. The pockets has been my best spots to go. About halfway back in the cove fish all the pockets to the back of the cove. Today i also caught about 5 bass and two drum on the crappie jig. Tomorrow i will be heading to the gravois arm to crappie fish. Stay tuned for the results!! thanks always guys!!
