Just wanted to share a local report on blue catfish. As i work part time at fitz fishing i talk to many guys about cat fishing. This guy who comes in all the time gave me a report the other day. Right now he is fishing with rod and reel and his main target during the day is Bluff ends from40-60 foot deep. He uses cut shad most the time as bait. He has found that in the early morning the cat fish will make there ways out of the coves and on to the bluff ends. Then at night he has been catching them really shallow in the coves from 8-18 feet. So he really has found them all day on this pattern. Jim and Wayne have also had alot of luck with the blues biteing there jug lines on secondary points. In about 40 foot of water |
