Well, i got back out after the crappie today and got SKUNKED!!!! Ive just lost the pattern completely that i had last week. The crappie definitely are not right on the bank for me anymore. I also tried a little deeper with no love. I talked to terry Blankenship today and he said he had a successful guide trip Saturday, targeting Brush on pea gravel banks from 8-12 foot of water. Terry says they caught at least 40 keepers around the tan tara area of lake. So he reminded me they are not on the bank. They are staging in this area of the lake getting ready to spawn. I’ve still got some good reports rolling in from the Pervis area of the lake(River), From Hurricane deck bridge on up the fish seem to be spawning and the crappie guys are wackin them!! Tomorrow im trying a completely different area of lake!! i need new scenery and a fresh new approach!! Also there has been a couple member reports lately that have done alot better than I, so please check them out!! |
