Fishing Notes |
---|
Today I was only able to get on the lake for a couple of hours from about 5:30 til 7:00 so I stayed in the lower Glaize to see if the fish have gotten to the main lake points and they were there. I just checked these points a few days ago and the bass were not quite there like they are now. I fished a couple of the points, mostly trolling around them looking for the sweet spot that holds the bass, which is typically some kind of structure, like broken rock, ledge into the channel, brush, etc. I found a brush pile in about 19′ of water on one of the points, I backed off and fished to the brush pile and caught a 16″ keeper and then a keeper that was just under 5 pounds. As I was trolling and watching my graph I was fan casting a medium and deep diving crank bait, which caught me some short fish. |
