Fishing Notes |

This evening i got a little crappie fishing in with Ben and Crappie expert Jim Verhoef. We fished hanging brush that was tied off to the docks. Due to the Hot weather there was alot of crappie tucked underneath the docks. We tried various depths before we were able to key in on the crappie. We actually found them in 8-15 foot suspended over 15 foot brush. with about 40 foot of water underneath them. Earlier in the day i went out trolling with my dad and had no luck. The water color around the lake has really stained up. Some areas around the glaze are chocolate milky color. This is a time that crappie fishing from the dock in the shade over brush is probably the best bet. |
