Fishing Notes |

Today dad and i didn’t get out until the heat of the afternoon!!! Dad We did a little crappie fishing to start, with no luck we switched to bass fishing. We tried a few brush piles to begin the day due to the water temp really rising and the stain of the water. We didnt have any luck with the brush. From there we went and hit the points, then we finally got a few bites. We were fishing bluffy end points anywhere from 10-30 foot of water, most the luck coming deeper. Dad threw the jig most of the day, but the bites mainly came on the Red Shad worm, i tied this worm on due to the super stained water we were in, usually i like to throw Green Pumpkin. We ended the day catching 7 fish and two keepers. pretty slow afternoon, and we really noticed that summer is here. I was ready to jump in the water all day!!! |
