Guys i got word from a close contact that the crappie bit pretty good on the low end of the lake this past weekend. My contact says he fished mainly on the main lake or right inside the main lake. he was throwing muddy water crappie jigs on a 1/16th ounce head. His key depth was 15-18 feet of water using dock shooting technique and just swimming the jig at these depths along sides of shady docks. The docks that are located right outside the points or right inside the point were producing the best. He also had a little bit of luck on secondary points that had deeper water on it. Brush on the secondary’s was key. He listened to our bassing bob weekly video report and it really helped him. i asked if i could share his report to you guys. I fished a two day bass tournament this weekend so i was unable to crappie fish. The tournament went well thought. See bassing reports for my tourney report!! As always thanks guys!! |
