Fishing Notes |
---|
Today I got on the water about 5 and fished until 8. Wayne Fitz showed me this new bait the Keitech Crazy Flapper creature bait. I used this bait yesterday as a trailer for a big jig fishing deep on main lake points and bluff ends. Today I thought I would try this bait out on the same kind of structure rocky points, but flipping the bait shallow from the bank out to about 15′ of water. I rigged the bait on the COG Gator Lock Jig Head (formerly Fitz Creature Keeper Head), I had a lot of baits and most surprising I had 5 small keepers. Check out this bait, it has a ton of action and can be used as a trailer, on a jig head and probably would work well on a shaky head, C-Rig or Texas rigged. The tail and legs have a lot of action. I will be off the lake for the next week travelling to Gulf Shores Alabama. Rob and the rest of the BB gang will be adding fishing reports. We do encourage you all to post your reports as well. Thanks, Bob |
