Fishing Notes |

Our good buddy Stacey Helton had a pretty good day in the Gravois yesterday. The sun has been high and hot so stacey went out targeting deeper brush piles. Most of the piles were in 18-20 foot, and the crappie were either in them suspended above or around them. Most of the brush stacey is fishing is located close to the main channel. First couple of docks inside a creek, some were in the main channel of the gravois just down a little deeper. Stacey said the crappie have been a little tougher to catch lately he was pleased to get his 15. His favorite bait right now is Bobby Garland Baby Shad, on a 1/16 ounce sinker. |
