Fishing Notes |
---|
After a week away from LOZ for family vacation in Gulf Shores then the FLW BFL tournament at Truman lake, it was so nice to get back on Lake of the Ozarks. Due to the heavy boat traffic I fished the no wake area around the Grand Glaize bridge. I targeted brush piles toward the backs of some of the coves and along side docks in 8′ – 20′ of water and caught a few short bass and a small keeper in the brush. Most of the brush fish came off brush in about 12′-20′ of water in the middle of the backs of coves and on back of coves secondary points with brush piles. I also had a few shorts and two small keepers on a medium diving crank bait on and around main lake points/banks with wind hitting directly on the them as well as a couple of bites and a few chasers coming off the corners of and fronts of docks with wind hitting directly on them. |
