Fishing Notes |
---|
Found handful of spawning bass. Wind, lack of sun and water clarity made it hard to site fish. The fish I was able to locate I had very tough time getting them to bite. Had only boated fish, about 15 inches within 15 minutes of start, around 10 am. Did not boat any rest of day. Had one hit and miss on top water chug bug. Had about 2 lb come off on rage craw. Pulled it off nest after about 15 minutes of fishing it. Other bedding bass I found did not want anything to do with my baits no matter what I threw they would barely look at them. I tried the jig, rage craw, beaver tail type bait, and brush hawg. There were a lot of fisherman out today about half crappie fishing and others bass. I did not locate any big bass on beds, biggest May have been pushing 4 lb. |
