Fishing Notes |

Caught a lot of small fish this weekend fishing close to where I launched at US Army Rec. Fish were all in about 5 ft of water on pea gravel banks. Most of the bigger keepers came on texas rigged watermelon red baby brush hogs worked slow and watermelon red 5/16 oz finesse jig. I caught a lot of smaller fish on a 1/8 oz Spot Remover stand up jighead with a Missile Baits Fuse 4.4 Craw worm also in Watermelon Red color. Fish were relating to pea gravel long sloping banks. Also caught 1 fish on KVD 1.5 Squarebill in Sexy Shad off of chunk rock/wood bank. |
