Secondary rocky points by spawning areas

Fishing Notes

Fished the north shore area between 2 – 5 MM. Concentrated on secondary points near spawning areas. The fish were very finicky, they wanted something small, on the bottom and worked very slowly. Keepers were caught on a combination of a bobblehead with 1/2 of a finesse worm or a Limit Out Jig with a 2 inch piece of finesse worm as a trailer. We tried full size worms and jigs but could not get bit. Wind blown points produced the best. We were able to duplicate this pattern on Sunday with a limit of keepers from 0700 – 1300 in the Shawnee bend area.
