Fished the back 1/3 of coves in 2-6 foot of water on flats and along shore. Bite was consistent. Lot of blow ups “walking the dog”. Dragged the bottom to get the bigger bite. |
Fishing Notes |
---|
On Sunday morning I got that once every-so-often, right place right time scenario. While fishing for black bass I ran into a pod of white bass (stripers) busting on a school of small shad. Boated 5 fish in about 10 minutes with a strike on every cast! Even though it was not the fish of choice – they up such a great battle! Nothing like the boil to get the heart going! |
