Fished with my son from the three mile marker to the five from the dam. Hit various smaller pockets off main channel. Light winds and very clear water, early fishing, fished from 5:45 to 9:30. Caught 10 fish with two keepers one over 3lbs. Couple of big bites early on PopR chrome /blue but missed fish. Most fish caught on twin tail chompers , all on docks on shady sides. Biggest fish was on shady side on front of dock. Seen tons of shad and schools of baby bass chasing them. Did also catch a number of big bluegill on both chompers and PopR . Over all a good day , just not no real big fish. |
