Fished the points and bluffs from dam to 5mm. Fished morning from 7:30 to 9:00. Overcast sky helped a lot I believe and very much to the surprise very very light boat traffic . Starting fishing with green pumpkin red flake Chomper , couple small fish . Then switched to a brown black small jig with a Papa craw trailer tipped in chartreuse . The bite really picked up. Started on points then went in each side of bluffs to some isolated docks. Twitches and long strokes seemed to trigger the bites, fish was on side of docks and would hit on second pull. Overall caught 11 fish in short time. Couple of keepers but none over 3lbs. |
