Blluff cuts and pockets

Fishing Notes

Spent the first hour searching main and secondary points with electronics for presence of fish. Few, if any, returns on most locations. Went to bluff cuts and pockets with known brush in the 12-20 ft depth range. Tried various combinations of worms and jigs with a few missed bites. Caught the two non keepers on a jig. Out of frustration began throwing the DD22 and “crashing it” into the brush which resulted in 4 keepers in the 3-5# range in about an hour. The reaction strikes were explosive and a lot of fun. Caught absolutely no fish that were not in or very close to the brush.
