Main Lake and Points

Fishing Notes

The lake and river are in full swing this week keeper bass are on main lake points and bluffs in twenty foot of water and some are deeper. Fish the banks with the wind blowing into them and set the hook on the lites bite. Brown jigs and big worms worked nicely. If you fine some brush on the points around dock fish it slow and make two or three cast. Stroke the jigs on points and set the hook as hard as you can these fish will come to the top and throw it if you don’t.
On the River bass are on edge of the channel with rocks and logs. Drop shot, worms and jigs work later in the day but you can catch some on top water early. Thier running water up and down so play the rise in the water by fishing the creek mouths and bluff ends. The river is clear and in the low 70’s so the fish are hot to land.
