Fishing Notes |
---|
Plan was to fish ALL new area’s and get away from the same old routine this weekend. Fished the MO DNR brush piles Friday with limited success. Took some practice finding the brush with the bait. Saturday I fished main Lake points and cuts upstream of the toll bridge. Again limited success but caught fish as I did Friday. Sunday morning I tried shallow for about 2 hours with no success (unless you count goggle eyes) then moved to a main lake wall. Had a tapered ledge to 20′ then a steep drop. Threw parallel to shore at the 20′ depth and kept a tight line. There were no “hits”, then line would just get heavy. Bagged 8 keepers in about 25 min. Finally! |
