Fishing Notes |
---|
We fished from about 6:30 to 10:00 am both Saturday and Sunday. We started on several main lake points that we’ve had success in the past and were able to catch a few in these locations each day. Most of the fish caught were in the 15-20′ range, but a couple were as deep as 30′ and right under the boat. Other fish were caught in shady dock stalls with good brush present in 15+ feet of water. The largest of the weekend, at 5lbs 11 oz on our digital scale came in the back 1/3 of a cove on the shallow corner of a dock. We only threw 3/4 oz football jigs and magnum trick worms and had about equal success on both baits. The jig fish were caught on both dragging and stroking techniques. |
