Fishing Notes |
---|
My fishing buddy Kevin and I got on the water about 6:30 pm. We knew the cold front had just gone through and didn’t expect to do much but the nite bite is definitely on and with the right depth, bait fish and brushpiles, as the temperature kept dropping the fish just kept biting. The wind blowing in made it that much better. Fishing a worm at nite in a strong wind is not for the faint of heart especially when the fish are just picking up the bait and moving with it which was pretty much the pattern for the fish last night. Practically anywhere we found brush we found fish. We stopped fishing just pass 11 pm wishing we had worn long pants and brought a jacket for the ride back home but it will be a night on the lake we will both remember. Don’t have any pictures – you’ll just have to take my word for it. |
