Got out on the water around 6:00am. Fished Gravois entire time. Early morning caught four small bass quickly, two on green /brown jig with paca trailer. Then thru a popper for short time behind docks and caught two small bass along with two big bluegills hitting the PopR. After nine threw mostly a Chomper and worms. The two keepers came on a green pumpkin Chomper. Most of the day was spent fishing docks with brush although most fish was caught on front corners of docks. Fished in Racoon Cove and then ran to fish big docks at Westport Yacht club. One of the keepers came form there. Did have one big bite on a brush hog but came off, see the big belly roll but of course couldn’t get him in the boat ! |
