Fishing Notes |
---|
Sat I got on the water at 10am fished till dark focused on the 9mm-5mm. Had it in my mind they would eat the buzzer so focused on secondaries with good sized rock and fished a couple small pockets. They bit the buzzer but reluctantly they would eat the spook kind of the same way. No big blow ups they would just take the bait under. More than likely I should have been flipping a jig to the docks, but they bit my moving baits enough to keep me satisfied. Caught 4 keeps and had the 5th pull off caught a 6.2 behind some condo docks on the spook it bit like a blue gill it did not act like one after! Sunday ran towards the toll bridge(not the best decision in retrospect) had the keeper bites more on a blade but had execution issues and only got two keeps in the boat. All in all great to get out it had been way tooooo long |
