Fishing Notes |
---|
Got on the water around 10:00 and fished from 75 mm at deer creek a with buzz bait and spinnerbaits with no luck. I made a run down to the 60 mm after about an hour of fishing and fished a main lake point catching my first keeper on the jig. Had several other bites but didn’t hook up. I fished a handful of windy points making it down to the 52 mm and catching 2 more keepers with a few bites. Buddy had some hits on a spinnerbait but no hook ups other than 1 quick break off. Seemed like we couldn’t figure anything out up the river as there aren’t as many good points and the water was low 50’s but once I put the buzz bait down, got to some good points down the lake with water in the higher 50’s,and stuck with the jig my day got better. |
