Started out fishing deep coves throwing the A – Rig first few fish where keepers the tied a jig in brush. Just small fish then I went back to the A – Rig more fish and more keepers but on rock banks. Tied a spinner bait no fish back to jig in deeper water and logs no fish. Back to A – Rig chunk rock banks Crappie, catfish, gar, shad and more bass. I think it needs to get cooler for the bigger fish to bunch up. Last Week I had a trip and we had a pattern in a pattern. it was fun. You could call your shot. John had two nice fish in the three and half and two half lb range. |
