Fishing Notes |

Got to the lake about 9:30 and headed out of PB2. We went to some brush piles in fifteen foot of water and the second stop we landed five keeper in ten cast. The bite is on third stop two more keepers then hit four more brush piles and no keepers. Back to the second brush pile three more keepers so we just keep hitting the same one then tied other brush piles in the ten to fifteen foot range. After about five hours we stayed on the ones that had fish. Total of eighteen crappie between us not to bad. Purple and chart. was the best color on a 1/16 oz jig. Fished it slow just letting it fall to the brush crappie hit it just before it hit the brush. Best tip it to keep your eyes on the line and if it jumps or stops falling set the hook. |
