Got on the water around 10:30 and fished till 3:30. Tried fishing the dam area hoping that I would have luck on the side of the lake that the sun was hitting. Fished mainlake points, secondary points, chunk rock banks, and bluff ends with very little success. Threw the alabama rig, jerkbaits, jigs and the wiggle wart. The only bait I got bit on was the wiggle wart on junk rock banks. I ended up catching just one 14 inch largemouth, a white bass, and a drum. I believe the bluebird skies no wind made the fishing very tough. |
