Got on the water around 10:30 and fished till 3:30. Started fishing in the Glaize and caught a few shorts and missed a big fish on a jig. The water temp in the Glaize was 42/43 degrees. So, we made a run up to the dam area around noon to try and find warmer water to see if that would make a differnce. The water temp by the dam was around 46 degrees and within the first hour of fishing up there we landed a 6lb and a 4lb bass on an RC jerkbait fishing chunk rock banks inside of coves. We also caught a few more shorts and lost another big bass that came unbuttoned. Considering only landing two keepers, we had a great day on the water!!! |
